Overhead Squat ALL THE WAY!!!

I am so excited!  Today was a long day for me, started early and ended late, but something so cool happened that after waking up at 4:30am and not getting home ’til 8:30pm I am still smiling.  Ralph did a whole bunch of overhead squats to below parallel keeping the bar in the right place.  If you don’t know Ralph you won’t know how excited you should be.  First of all, Ralph is one half of the Salcido brothers, some of our very first CrossFit Works clients.  The Salcido clan, which includes two tiny little lovely girls, are those kind of people that I wait to see every day.  Ralph is very tall and early on made me appreciate the particular effort involved in getting more than 6ft of longness up into a handstand.  He has been so frustrated by the overhead squat for the last 3 1/2 months and even for the first half of tonight’s workout he wasn’t getting it and then suddenly-there they were!..A** to the ball and bar in the right place.  It might be that I am happier than Ralph because I can see all the future possibilities……
