New Resource for You All-Mateo completes CrossFit Football Cert!!

Bring it home Mateo!!  We are really excited to have been able to get Mateo up to Las Vegas this weekend for the CrossFit Football Certification.  CrossFit Football was developed by John Welbourn, former NFL football player and owner of SoCal Strength and Conditioning.  The staff includes Max Mormont, nationally ranked Olympic Lifter and owner of CrossFit Balboa, Kelly Starett, Ph. D in physical therapy and owner of CrossFit San Francisco and Raphael Ruiz, Strength and Conditioning coach and sprinting coach for collegiate and professional athletes.  CrossFit Football differs from CrossFit because it is programming for amateur, collegiate and professional athletes with competitive seasons and specifically identified needs and goals as power athletes.  CrossFit is, of course, general physical preparedness for the likes of firefighters, soldiers, police officers and regular folks who never know what challenges will lie ahead.

Although the majority of you are not competitive power athletes, Mateo’s CrossFit Football cert will benefit you all anyway.  We all can benefit from the skills and drills, warm ups, cool downs, goal-setting strategies, strength progressions and nutrition information that Mateo has been immersed in at CrossFit Las Vegas with the CF Football staff.  If you are one of our clients with more detailed needs than general physical preparedness, you will most definitely be rewarded by what Mateo has to offer.
