…or just start wearing tube socks and short shorts.

…and clearly Works has a bunch of bad ass beotches workin’ out up in there…great work ladies…

That was a lot of fun. Next time I’ll bring the big hair and ‘stachio fer sure. Dang- I coulda got more if it wasn’t for that debilitating stroke midway through the deadlift. Next time…

Jay- nice outfit- you clearly put a lot of money and thought into that.

Carl- the biker mustache brings out your obvious Viking heritage- add a horned helmet and it will complete the look. Include short-shorts and tube socks and the girls will be going wild and it will definately increase CFW membership.

Looks like a lot of fun. I wish I could have made it but my wife won’t let me grow my porn star mustache again. It is too creepy when I drive around in my vintage Econoline van. I think there were some pretty good scores earlier in the day too.

Wow. The 70s big challenge was lots of fun. But it was very revealing as well. I have a lot of work to do.

  • 70s Big Challenge was 21st Century, 360-degree, complete and total fun! 70s Big Shoutout to Kate and the 9am posse, especially Elizabeth and Olonzo (sp? mi dispiace e mi scusi, Padre) who threw around those prescribed deadlifts like it was their occupation. As retro is fun, could we do an 80s Svelte Challenge? Number one Billboard song of 1982? Physical, by Olivia Newton-John Belinda Jones Milkulski. [That woman has too many names. She has to give some back.] Or, how ’bout most box jumps done in the time it takes to play #1 song of 1984: Jump, by Van Halen, followed immediately by maximum sledgehammers into tires in the time it takes to play #1 song of July 1986 by Peter Gabriel, yep, you guessed it… Sledgehammer. Hey, I started off trying to be funny, but now I’m thinkin’ this is not such an awful idea. Jen? Oh, Jen? And Chauncey, let’s do that Archery-Hunting Paleo workout. Have you seen Robin Hood? Awesome! It’s about the Magna Carta!

I LOVE IT!! The month of June needs a little excitement. As long as a Howard Jones song can appear somewhere in the mix. And I’m also very excited about an archery thing. Chauncey, tell me what to do.

  • [...] by weight class (I used PL classes just because). The results are interesting. The women up at CrossFit Works killed this thing, which is to be expected given their high rep, high volume training with the [...]
