Back from the Qualifying Games. More on that later. Pretty much lost my voice shouting at the athletes, might have to whisper at you all today. Wanted to remind several of you and let several others of you know that starting a week from today CrossFit Works is beginning a 2 week Paleo-Zone Challenge. Some of you really wanted the support of other folks and a little more regular accountability and check-in. Me too. I haven’t counted strict zone blocks myself in months, being more of a Paleo-girl, and am ready to do a couple weeks of it. I’d love it if we could all get together for a kickoff meeting, but scheduling is unlikely to support that, so I’m going to have 2 kick-off meetings. I will give you food lists and portions. We can measure body fat % ONLY IF YOU WANT TO. Not necessary. Please do try to get a weight for yourself as we do not have a scale right now. You will find a set of measuring spoons, measuring cups and if you have one a small kitchen scale helpful. Mostly you will find it helpful to spend this week getting rid of all the non-Paleo, tempting foods in your house!! This is your chance to get serious about developing an approach to eating that supports your CrossFit training. By the way-if your goal is to gain weight you most welcome to join as well.
