We have an old building. It is almost and will be a brilliant CrossFit gym, but as those of you who have been with us awhile know there were some changes to make. We absolutely could not have accomplished as much as we have without the help and work hours of John W., Chauncey, Chris H. and Larry especially. These guys have wired, dry walled, carpentered and whatever John does up there in the ceiling ducts. We are so grateful and you all are benefitting immensely from their work because I am not the beneficiary of a trust fund, so you might have just gone without if it wasn’t for them! Thank them when you see them. There are several others who have helped and all of you have been understanding and patient with our ongoing projects and resulting mess. We appreciate it. Speaking of ongoing projects we are trying our best to get the coolers running and functional. Trust us, it is our top priority and hopefully in the next few days you will hear the sounds of people on the roof…
How about that “DT” yesterday? Feeling it a little in the shoulders for sure. All of you Paleo-Zoners are inspirational. Don’t forget that each meal is an opportunity to make the choice you want. It doesn’t matter what you did the day before or meal before. When it is time to eat again, you can Paleo-Zone it.

Oh my goodness. Thank the lord that you said that. I think I have been so good. I had a coffee with cream on Sunday and a 4 oz glass of wine on Saturday which was supposed to be one of my carb blocks but it ended up taking me a couple of hours to finally drink it.
At any rate.. it feels like it has been really good. My alementary canal has been healthier than I can remember it being. I knew it would but I was reluctant to do it cuz then I would have no excuse.
Thanks again.
(please forgive me for deviating a little today and eating some corn ships and drinking some margaritas.)
Ellie
Nice and sore from “DT” yesterday, that was a doozey. Hungry because of it I think, hardest day of all the days today. Did pretty well. Just had some protein before bed that was not in my block points, all paleo though and 99% is still an A
. Excited to cook some stuff in the next two days while I am off. Keep up the good work everyone. Nik
Back on track Zoning this week after a weekend of too much wine and a Sweet Tomatoes overload. But I did turn down Cinco de Mayo happy hour today and did Wednesday’s Crossfit Endurance workout instead! And suprisingly, yesterday and today was quite easy to stick to my block allotment, I’m no longer struggling through my workouts and no longer hungry all day. Feeling like I could stick with this longer than 2 weeks if I allow one or two cheat meals per week.
I did pretty good eating out today. Had the omlet with veggies in the morning and had mexican at lunch, approx. 3oz steak and calabacitas without the cheese. It is getting a little easier to pass up the breads, tortillas, and beans and rice. Because of my injuries I still feel like a slob though, no workouts so far this week, I should do some endurance stuff and plan to get in at least two workouts by the end of the week.
All the changes in the gym are great to watch. We call it our “Rocky” gym. No frills, only the necessary equipment, thats how we like it. Even the lack of cooling makes us feel tough. I think I may miss it when you are done with all the upgrades. Thanks to everyone who has been helping!
ELizabeth and I went to Blue Willow tonight on her suggestion. We both had an omelet with veggies on the inside and on teh side plus a side of salsa, probably high on the fat and low on Carbs but pretty darn good. Tastey and as Andres mentioned, it is so nice to let someone else cook for you every once in a while!
