This here is Elizabeth. Today she did her second ever pull-up. Once you get your second ever they just start coming by the dozens…. Congratulations. So exciting. One thing that Elizabeth does really well is observes her progress and notes goals and changes. She has been doing this for about 6 months. She first worked on unbroken sets of push ups. She has made numerous nutrition changes. She provides feedback and asks questions and she stays up til after midnight listening to Raw Food Stars give lectures when I left at 10:00pm! Awesome work Elizabeth.

Great Job Elizabeth! Maybe someday soon I will be up there with you!
Congrats! I’ll get there someday too!
Wahooo, way to go girl!!!
CrossFit rocks. Jen and Carl and the other coaches are excellent guides, supportive but demanding. CrossFit helps me improve my shotokan and kobudo training. Crossfit Works is a gift to the community, and is already emerging as a center of life long dietary and fitness training.
Way to go, Elizabeth!
You go girl!! That is awesome!!
I am going to use Elizabeth as inspiration for working harder on dreaded PUs I should be able to pull one off by the end of September….. 6 months after starting CF. How did it feel to do one???????? Do post & describe your joy!
I also wanted to comment on Jen’s amazing nutrition lecture. You are a research genius, I could have sat there until midnight. I understand why you chose home-schooling. It is difficult to not think critically about a national/state education system who promotes bad science. I am interested in a reading list….. a bibliography of sorts. It takes me 20+ times of reading/hearing information to own it (okay 100+ times). I’m beginning to think the rampent neurotic tendencies of my extended family are due to malnutrion………(in addition to genetic propencity for insanity)
THANK YOU JEN……….. PLEASE PLEASE keep inviting us for lectures…….
PS Nikki please post your ingredient list for green summer soup in a mason jar…. it smelled like a fresh tangy garden!
Great talk last night Jen! it raised all kinds of questions for me, especially on how to apply all that was shared. So, here’s my suggestion: how about a follow up talk on applicability? E.g. how to look at the labels and recognize the different kinds of fats. Thanks for all support!
