This is a gym…Why is she talking about how to cook a chicken?

Last night I had a lot of fun talking about fat.  You all asked some excellent questions and hopefully we got a few of the answers pinned down.  I will put together a reading list regarding fat and post it in the near future for those of you interested in learning more.  In addition of course, you can always ask me.  Briar and I were talking about how sometimes it takes hearing things a few times before you put all the pieces together and have a grasp of the concepts in a way that you could confidently explain it to someone else.  This is one of my very favorite topics so I’m happy to keep discussing it.  And, Luciana, you are absolutely right-it really comes down to what to eat and how to cook it.  Dave, you have to start with a pot that fits a chicken…We’ll talk more about this.  CrossFit is about peak wellness and the fat you eat is at least as important as the weight you lift.  Thank goodness, sometimes it is a lot easier to spoon up some coconut milk than get a good Clean & Jerk!

Hi Erin, here are the ingredients, I am not so good with proportions I am a little of this a little of that kind of cook. Enjoy! Mostly raw soup- 1 avocado, 1/2 bunch italian parsley, micro greens, spinach, celery, cucumber, sm can of diced tomatoe , 1 roasted green chile, fresh ginger, garlic, whole lemon, some miso paste and water- all belnded in the vitamix- yummy. I would say it was 7-8 C blocks and 7-8 fat blocks, I had in two meals but it could have easily been stretched to 3.
