I am always leery of taking any pain meds cause I'm affraid of hurting myself when I can't feel as much. I knew that Tylenol had alot of other draw backs but I had no idea Advil was so bad. Thanks. The more I hear from you guys the gladder I am that you are in my life. I feel so great these days. I can't wait to feel and see how I am a year from now.

Awesome article, Jen. I highly recommend the homeopathic ointment Traumeel for muscle soreness or injury pain. A friend suggested it to me when I injured my back in San Diego last month. It was a lifesaver!

Oh crap! I've been downing the ibuprofen to chase the inflamation away for a while now. I guess I'll quadruple up on the ice treatments and maybe more rest... My liver thanks you, Jen.

uhhhhhhhhm, I just took 800mgs......tight lower back from deadlifting. I just wanted to throw it out there that I am digging the strength bias followed by a met - con!! Mike had mentioned that there is concern that women don't like the olympic lifting aspect of crossfit. NOT true here. I love it.
Brenda it was uper fun lifting with you!!!!!!!! You crushed the deadlift.... AWE-some work. Sara I heard you DEMOLISHED this lift. I am in awe! I missed the shoulder press and want to fit it in somehow. Trying to get it done at home is a bust for me... I need the peer pressure.
I also wanted to mention that I am going to Yoga Oasis for hour yoga ($4) classes. Everything about it compliments crossfit. More flexibility + wrist/forearm/ankle work = a more well rounded crossfitter. These classes are done to music from Led Zepplin - Krishna Das. Check it out!!
