If I had loved my wasband as much as I love CrossFit, I'd still be married...Anyway, I visited CrossFit Albuquerque yesterday, where Fran was the WOD. This caused me to remember the first time I did Fran, which I believe was back in January. I don't remember the weight that I used or my time, but I remember that Mike made me do every last jumping pullup. I couldn't do a single pullup back then. I could barely use my arms for an entire week after that. Yesterday I completed Fran in 8:47(?) with 45lbs and all regular, unassisted pullups. If I hadn't witnessed my own progress in such a short time, I wouldn't believe it was even possible. Thanks, guys!

I know I'm in love. sometimes too much where I feel like I gotta back off and make room for my pre-crossfit life. But I am in deep.

For me, Crossfit is like that girl that you really didn't notice much, but then she started to grow on you. You were leery, because she was also a little dangerous. After a while, you started to think "I like her, I may even REALLY like her, and I'd like to spend more time with her." Later, you begin to wonder, "Am I falling in love? Cause I feel like I'm falling in love." Then all of a sudden, you're smack in the middle of a love hurricane.

Crossfit kinda reminds me of my wife.

As for Crossfit itself, I really like her, and I'd like to spend more time with her. But falling in love is a distinct possibility.
