Nutrition changes can be hard, but they don’t have to be like asking your kid to eat seaweed for a snack.

We recommend that you make your fitness changes in stages. Most people find that in the early weeks of being a part of the gym they are adjusting to the physical training. We suggest that you give yourself a few weeks to let the physical training settle in for you. Every few weeks we offer a free nutrition basics lecture where you can come in and hear the rationale behind the food strategies we use as well as the changes you might want to implement. Once you have had the chance to try out the basic strategies you might want to schedule a one-on-one nutrition session to individualize your eating plan.
The prerequisite for a one-on-one nutrition session is a 3 day diet journal. In your Journal please record:
1. What you ate
2. How it was prepared (fried, grilled, steamed etc…)
3. Approximately how much you ate
4. The time of day you ate
5. All beverages, including amount and time.
