Our Programs

BLUEPRINT: The Blueprint program is constantly varied, functional movement at varying intensity.  The goal of the Blueprint program is to develop particular characteristics of your body so that you will have lifelong physical health and wellness while creating the foundation to support a more demanding strength and conditioning program.  In the Blueprint program you will develop a symmetrical musculature that can support a full range of motion in all athletic positions.  You will build the connective tissue, tendon strength and muscle mass to provide you a platform for the utmost health and wellness as well as a basis for future athletic development if you so desire.  In the Blueprint program you will experience “time under tension”.  Time under tension allows you to develop strength and muscle quickly while acquiring a thorough kinesthetic awareness of the required positions in weight lifting and gymnastics.  Lifting using a “time under tension” approach is performed at a slow tempo and a lighter weight so that you learn to control the body positions that are safe during weight lifting.  You will also receive exposure to increasingly heavy loads as you become ready.  In the Blueprint program you will develop mechanics and consistency in your movement patterns.  Our Blueprint program is designed to be a life long strength and conditioning program.  Regardless of your athletic experience you will benefit from the coaching and training used in our Blueprint program.

DAILY CROSSFIT: The Daily CrossFit program is constantly varied, functional movement performed at high intensity.  The Daily CrossFit program is exactly what the founders of CrossFit said it should be: constantly varied, functional movement performed at high intensity.  In the Daily CrossFit program you will train strength and metabolic conditioning.  You will be exposed to the full suite of CrossFit movements and the CrossFit benchmark workouts.  In order to be a part of the Daily CrossFit program you will be capable of working at high intensity.  Scaling of the movements will be done to allow you to work at high intensity.  Attendance at Daily CrossFit classes is contingent upon your strength and movement foundation.  We have a skill and movement checklist that must be met before you train in the Daily CrossFit classes.

PERFORMANCE CROSSFIT: This program is designed for people who love to push themselves beyond a straightforward health maintenance level.  These are folks who like to get intense in the gym.  The Performance CrossFit Program is for people who are quite serious about their training and their progress, but are not going out in the world to compete.  Participation in the Performance CrossFit workout is by invitation.  The primary prerequisite is the ability to perform most CrossFit benchmark workouts without scaling.

COMPETITIVE CROSSFIT: The name says it all.  In this program people train to compete against other CrossFit athletes around the world and they train to win.  This program is designed for a serious athlete who is ready and willing to make changes to their lifestyle that will improve their performance.  These people are tracking sleep, stress, nutrition and every tiny aspect of their performance.  They live and breathe CrossFit when they need to.  They are supportive members of a competitive team and they represent CrossFit Works in the greater world of the sport of CrossFit.
